Faculty members of SDMIT played a YakshaganaTalamaddale - ‘Brahma Kapala’ at college auditorium on 13th Sept. Yakshagana Talamaddale is a local form of folklore where talented conversationalists engage in musical conversations based on scriptures. They are like plays, but without enactment.

SDMIT Girls Team bagged Second Prize in Belthangadi Taluk Level Dasara-2019 Throw Ball Tournament held at Sri Rathnavarma Heggade Stadium, Ujire.

Evry India conducted recruitment drive at SDMIT campus on 28th August and 15 students from Computer, Information Sc., and Electronics & Communication Engg. were selected in the drive.

Two Day Hands-on Training Session on "Exploring Pointers in C" has been organised for the final year students of ECE and EEE on 17th and 18th August, 2019 at SDM Institute of Technology, Ujire.
