Consumer Outreach Programme
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a ‘Consumer Outreach Programme’ on Cyber Security and Cyber Crime’ on 20th February 2024, for ECE students. The welcome address was given by Mr. Manish Raghav, Joint Advisor, Regional Office, TRAI, Bengaluru. The resource persons for the event were Mr. B Rajendra Kumar, Regional Head & Advisor, TRAI, Bengaluru, and Mr. Manjunatha T, Inspector of Police, Cybercrime were the resource person for the event. During the event Telecom customers were informed about their rights with regard to various aspect of telecom services and how to safeguard consumer interests and create consumer awareness regarding cyber security.
