IPR Cell Inauguration
SDM Institute of Technology (SDMIT), Ujire, inaugurated the SDMITU–KSCST Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Cell and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST), Bengaluru, on 12th October 2026, to promote research, innovation, and intellectual property protection. Prof. S. N. Kakathkar, Academic Advisor, SDM Education Society, Ujire, inaugurated the Cell. Mr. Vineeth Kumar S. R., Project Engineer, KSCST, Bengaluru, delivered the keynote address, highlighting the importance of protecting innovative ideas. Dr. Sandeep R., Principal, SDMIT, emphasized the role of the IPR Cell in strengthening the institution’s research and innovation ecosystem. Dr. Padmaprasada, Coordinator of the IPR Cell, delivered the welcome address and proposed the vote of thanks.
