The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a ‘VLSI Analog Design Hands-on session training using CADENCE’ on 12th June 2024, for ECE faculties.Mr. Niranjan M was the resource person for the session.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a two-week training program on ‘Embedded System Design using MSP and TIVA Boards’ for the second-year students on 10th June 2024. Faculties. Mr. Raghuveera Pandith T S and Mr. Mahesh D. S were the resource persons for the program.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a ‘MTLC UTLP’ training session on 7th June 2024, for ECE students. Dr. Madhusudhana K and Prof. Amith K Jain were the resource persons for the program.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a ‘Consumer Outreach Programme’ on Cyber Security and Cyber Crime’ on 20th February 2024, for ECE students. The welcome address was given by Mr. Manish Raghav, Joint Advisor, Regional Office, TRAI, Bengaluru. The resource persons for the event were Mr. B Rajendra Kumar, Regional Head & Advisor, TRAI, Bengaluru, and Mr. Manjunatha

The Department of Electronics and Communication organized a talk ‘A Comprehensive Exploration of Aeronautical Engineering’ on 12th December 2023 for final and pre-final year students. Resource person Mr. N. Mallikarjuna, Manager, Helicopter Division, HAL, Bengaluru, spoke on the recent developments in aeronautical engineering, helicopter anatomy, different types of helicopters, challenges and career opportunities.

The Department of Electronics and Communication of SDM Institute of Technology, Ujire, organized a one-week training programme on ‘Embedded Systems using TI Boards’ from 16th August 2023 to 24th August 2023, for Fourth Semester ECE students. Mr. Mahesh D.S. and Mr. Raghuveera Pandith, Asst. Prof., Dept. of ECE, were the resource persons for the event.
