“Anveshana 2019” a talent search program among the first years has been organized by the cultural committee of SDMIT on 11th October 2019. Kannada Sahithya Vedike, at SDMIT Ujire arranged a Harate - a debate on ‘Whether Education in mother tongue is call of the day or not?’ on 30th September 2019. Dr. Ajith Hebbar and Dr. Poorna Chandra Pandit delivered talks on Modern Trends in Airport and Pre-Stressed Concrete respectively.
A 2- Day workshop on ROBOLUTION using Arduino Microcontroller board was held at department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, SDMIT, Ujire, on 28th and 29th Sept. 2019. Students constructed various projects like Bluetooth Controlled Robot, Home Automation Design, Interfacing of Sensors, RFID, etc.
Mechanical Engineering organized a two-day training program on ‘Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing’ for fifth semester students on 20th and 21st of Sept 2019.
